- Hardware Design Engineer
- In Hewlett-Packard's Microdisplay Products Operation (MPO) R&D department, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while developing state-of-the-art microdisplays and subsystems based on Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS), using standard CMOS processes. MPO offers the opportunity to make a substantial contribution in the exciting field of new product development.
- As a mixed-signal, VLSI Hardware Design Engineer, you will work toward the development of the next generation of MPO microdisplay components. You'll be involved in the mixed-signal design of CMOS integrated circuits from chip/product architecture, feature definition, high-level RTL design using Verilog or VHDL, analog circuit design, circuit simulation and test, and chip turn-on and debug. Additional duties include developing test hardware to verify and characterize mixed-signal MPO products.
- Qualifications include a BSEE with 4+ years of mixed-signal ASIC design experience; an MSEE or Ph.D. in EE, with 6+ years of mixed-signal ASIC design experience in circuit simulation and verification is preferred. Demonstrated technical excellence in mixed-signal hardware design, specifically with experience in circuit simulation and verification is essential. Ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a team environment, and possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated UNIX and CAD tool usage experience, especially in shell programming, is also critical.
